After one hour it turns itself off! Really! Rounded edges make for a smooth pull!

I’ve mostly used curling irons ( all sizes ! ) for years ! So it was a bit of a learning curve for me to use the Sleeker at first ! I love its ease & versatility!
I’ve had the sleekr for over 15 years. This was my third one I’ve bought. This one doesn’t get as hot as the previous ones I’ve had. It’s probably better for my hair but it takes longer to do my hair now.
I’ve had my Sam Villa Sleekr flat iron for years, and it’s hands down the best styling tool I’ve ever owned. After almost daily use, the only reason I had to replace it was because the cable jacket finally wore through where it connects to the iron — a true testament to how long it lasted!

I bought this iron a year ago from a salon owner a year ago and used it 3 times. In a week and the hinge broke apart. Very sad day as I no longer live in the area where I purchased it.

I love the setting for colored hair, and it does heat up very fast! It makes my hair silky smooth, and does not snag any hair. I did notice that my non-professional flat iron got dyed hair burns (or maybe from my hair products), on it, and the Sleekr does not. The plates could be longer, but overall, I am very happy with it!

This iron heats up fast and is so easy to use. After having a mid grade iron just prior to this one I really appreciate it so much. The quality of the cord etc are so much better than my prior iron. Loving using this Sam Villa brand.
